BTS of documenting UCA College Nationals!

I’ve been documenting Varsity events for five year now and this is Zach’s second year joining me in Orlando!! It’s freaking so awesome having him be there with me! He never got to see me cheer , because we met after I was done! So sad, but him coming to these with me let him get a really good glimpse into what my whole entire world was growing up! haha

Cheerleading is a beautiful, crazy, hard, exciting and sparkly and all the things! It’s such a crazy sport, you work all year for 2 minutes and thirty seconds. You get one shot!! what! covering these events is SO much fun! You just want all the teams to hit and do their best! I honestly get emotional so many times throughout the day haha this was my life! and I feel it all! the fans screaming behind me for their sister, brother, daughter, friend! teammates yelling for each other, the deep breathes right before the routine starts, living real time watching these athletes finally get to where they have been working for all year!! and the rush of emotion that builds and then explodes when you realize you hit your routine!!I I am not kidding it gets me every time. I love every bit of it. I love documenting it. I love being a part of these.

and above all I love being here with Zach and watching him experience it all! makes me tear up !

The emotion. You can see the work they have put in all year for this moment, you can see the dedication, hard work, and LOVE for the sport and for their team! ahhh let’s see if they get you like they get me!!

ALSO.. cant be in Orlando without stopping by disney worlddd am i right?! My sister Sarah, her husband Connor and their baby Zuri , as well as my momma all came this weekend as well to watch my little sister Jenni compete! That was a freaking awesome added bonus to such a fun weekend!
