a few words from my brides:)

I feel SO passionately about my experience with Anna and Zach- I hope any bride in the market for a wedding photographer feeling a little unsure of what’s a reasonable ask in terms of budgeting for photos or even unsure of the importance of the photos in the grand scheme of the whole wedding will take the time to read this review in it’s entirety. For those who are just skimming... my favorite things about this woman are the following:

* She delivers- on her content, on her editing, and on her word. I got more than what I paid for.
* She’s prompt- I received my edited photo gallery in it’s entirety in LESS than 3 weeks. Not to mention dozens of sneak peeks to tide me over while I waited. THATS NOT NORMAL.
* Her husband as her second shot- Their comfortability  with each other made my now husband and I totally disarmed and less awkward almost immediately. ***More importantly*** I think this dynamic is what separates them from other photographers. They are working in tandem and share a similar eye for lighting and moments and communicate super well as not to miss anything.
* Her coaching- we are the furthest from models and I had a ton of anxiety that without giving her content this woman wouldn’t have anything to edit. Good news is she helps warm you up and gives cues to help move shots along. She knows what she’s doing so just trust the process.

My husband and I eloped in Utah where Anna and Zach live.  Anna was as professional as they come while being totally approachable and comforting in what I expected to be a potentially awkward experience. We spent our entire wedding day laughing and absolutely swooning with 2 strangers that turned out to be anything but.

Anna and I exchanged emails and chatted over the phone so I could get some clarity on what she was all about. She’s prompt in responses and couldn’t be easier to work with. She followed through with every claim she made on the phone regarding her work and what she and her husband were contributing to the process and quite frankly, what we were paying for. She surpassed my every expectation, catered to every whim, and honestly blew me away.

Weddings are expensive. I was stressed about spending so much on well, everything. I can honestly say that the phrase ‘you get what you pay for’ absolutely holds true for this. Anna was just outside of what we could afford for pictures, but I had a good feeling and at the time splurged a little extra and hoped for the best.

Paying a little extra for my wedding photographer was the single best choice I could have made, truly.

These pictures take me right back to how I was feeling in the moment and they’re all we have outside of our memory. Photos are all any bride has. I can’t wait to think of the next excuse to hire her next. Or even just to hang out with the two of them in the future.

My husband and I drove home from the Salt Flats absolutely full of love. And we were raving about them. We were even in agreement, “If we didn’t get a single photo we’d pay the money for Anna ten times over. It was the experience of a lifetime thanks to her little touches and her guidance.”

GOOD NEWS IS WE GOT MORE THAN A SINGLE PHOTO. Way. More. She sent a sneak peak the day after our wedding and every single shot was framed in my home. Immediately. She’s that good. Six random quick edits floored me. It’s a testament to the dazzle on the whole gallery.

To give a fair review I have to share what I regret. And the truth is that I regret not booking her husband Zach for a video of our day as well. Don’t sleep on him because you’re already purchasing the photos. He’s a true talent as well in his videography! Hindsight’s 20/20.

BOOK THIS BEAUTY. These are the photos of our lifetime and I’ll absolutely cherish them along with the sweet friendships we got as an unexpected bonus.
