THE BEGINNING - HOW ZACH + I MET:)

THE STORY OF WHERE IT ALL STARTED..

Hi I’m Anna! and I am about to tell ya bout a lil moment that changed my life haha this is how I met my hubs Zach:)

Summer of 2013.. yup that long ago:)..

Zach hung out with a few people down near I where was going to school.. Provo, it was an hour away from where he lived in SLC, Utah. Through their instagrams he found mine, I was cheering for BYU at the time, and when he found me he thought I was really pretty and followed me.

This was right before he started traveling and I was in the thick of cheer life at BYU, I followed him back and for three years we followed each other’s lives only through instagram without talking to each other expect through liking each others posts and a few comments here and there haha his mom sent him my profile saying he should date me once or twice during this time hahah yup that happened. but for the next three years, I cheered for BYU and he became a travel videographer and traveled to 60 countries over those years.

He says he knew he wanted to marry me even before he met me.

July 2016, I went up to Salt Lake City with my sister and I posted this picture on instagram…

He commented on it saying "Come visit next time(pizza emoji)" ..hahah pizza emoji

but I left for two months and taught college cheerleading camps around the country! when I came back I posted a recap video of my summer. Zach was one of the first to like it.. I remembered him, went back to my old post and commented back .. hahah this was literally 10 weeks later and he still gives me crap about it:) but we laugh about it now!

He was in Washington sky diving when he saw my comment reply, he quickly DMed me letting me know he wanted to get to know me. and set up a time to adventure and shoot!

I honestly was kind of not dating at this point but he didn’t technically ask me on a date.. he said he wanted to head up the canyon and shoot! smoooth Zach:) but it was perfect for me, low pressure ya know?! I was still a little bit hesitant but I said yes and headed up there Sept 9, 2016 !! to be exact! I headed up there full camera bag and all the things cause ya know, thought we were taking pics, but turns out out he planned a whole date! It was a tin foil dinner up the canyon with his friends and their wives/girlfriends! haha I remember thinking.. wait a second.. I think Im on a date. but it was so chill and we talked so much and I was sooo comfortable and so myself that I just went with it.

I teased him tho by the end of the night after it was all over.. “thought we were gonna take some pictures today!” haha he was quick and said oh we are.. have you ever done night photography! Next thing ya know we are back up the canyon shooting the stars!!

and here are a few pics from that night! I remember it being kinda chilly, and me trying to hold sooo still during the 30 sec exposure, to get a cool pic! he was the freaking cutest. after we were done Zach laid a blanket on the ground on the side of the road and we laid on it and just stared at the sky. I really remember at this point being like.. how’d this happen ahhah but also was fine with it:)

Zach was still traveling a lot, but we were together every day he was home, until he was home for a long period of time and we became inseparable. Our story definitely didn't happen fast, but I believe we met each other at the perfect time in each of our lives. I am so happy we met each other for real in 2016, rather than 2013, because we were ready for each other then. It was the most unexpected thing in my life, but I am most grateful for it. We have traveled, adventured, tried new things, laughed, cried and loved!! and two years later exactly we got married! Sept 8, 2018. the best day.

Now we own a Media Business, and we travel documenting photo and video corporate travel events, hotels, and weddings! and a whole lot of personal travels as well!:)
